There is still time to apply for an internship in the Long Island office of Senator Gillibrand. Online applications are no longer accepted, but email applications will be accepted until December 6. Please email Melanie Sinesi (Melanie_Sinesi@gillibrand.senate.gov) with the required information and attachments. For further information see below. 

It is possible to arrange for college credit with this internship. As usual, if you get an internship do not forget to let me know.

As a reminder, the deadline for internship submissions has closed on our website. However….

 

The Long Island Office of Senator Gillibrand has extended the deadline for submissions. The deadline is now December 6th at 12PM. If interested students may send an email as follows;

 

Students must email me directly using the following format/ attachments:

 

SUBJECT: Sen. Gillibrand's LI Office Winter/Spring 2015/2016 Internship (NAME OF INTERN)

ATTATCHED TO EMAIL: Resume, Unofficial Transcript (Copy pasted from school website is fine) Cover Letter, Letter of Reference and hours that the student is available M-F 930-530

 Hello,

 

As the Fall Season pushes on, I want to bring to your attention our next internship opportunity for your students. The Long Island Office of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will be hiring interns for the Winter/Spring 2015/2016  Internship Period (beg Jan- beg May.) This internship will be offered Monday- Friday 10AM-530PM, interns are expected to do 12-15 hours a week. The application period is open from now- Nov 20th, submission is solely on our website (see below). The internship is unpaid, however students are encouraged to apply for credit through their college/university. Feel free to pass along this email to interested students or faculty. If you would like to recommend a specific student, please reply to this email with the student’s name after they have submitted all of their application info.

 

·         Students must be able to commute to the Long Island Office.
