Dear Students- I am writing today as Director of Internships for the History Department. A QC alum shared this call for interns and I want to pass on the opportunity. For the second year, the Apollo Theater Archives in Harlem is collaborating with the National Museum of African American History and Culture to offer a paid, full-time 12-week summer internship in 2020 -- sponsored by Robert F. Smith's Fund II Foundation. The program invites students, undergraduate or graduate, with a passion for archives, libraries, or museums, to apply. It's a great opportunity to participate in the development of the Apollo Archives, which is still a relatively young entity, and to get paid for doing so. For more information and to apply, visit https://nmaahc.si.edu/RFSInterns As a reminder, QC undergraduate students can apply for an independent study to gain course credit for an internship. See the History Department website under "Opportunities" <https://www.queenscollegehistory.org/opportunities> ?for more details. I am happy to answer additional questions in office hours or over email.
