Dear History majors,
This is the first of several emails I'm about to send about new and interesting courses that are being offered in the History department in the spring semester.
First, note that Prof. Antonov will be teaching Hist 200.01: History of the Rule of Law (39248). This would be ideal for pre-law students, and it will also satisfy the European history concentration. The syllabus looks really fun and innovative. I kid you not: one of the required books is J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
It will meet TuTh, 12:15-1:30 in PH 157. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
Best,
Prof. Allen
