The CUNY Service Corps is a program that gives students like you the chance to play a role in improving New York City's future, while gaining real-work experience and professional training and getting paid $12 per hour.
· Priority Deadline: February 29 (earn two bonus points!*)
· Application closes March 20
The CUNY Service Corps is a 24-week commitment, 12 hours a week and pays $12 an hour. We currently have 135 placement sites. Some of the community partners where Queens College students have participated are:
American Museum of Natural History * Federal Reserve Bank of New York * New York City Council * CUNY Citizenship Now! * NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene * New York Hall of Science * U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission * Wildlife Conservation Society City Zoos Services * City Harvest * Queens Botanical Garden * Reel Stories Teen Filmmaking, Inc. * Coalition for Hispanic Families * and service projects led by Queens College and other CUNY professors!
* You will get bonus points added to your application if you meet the priority deadline (February 29) or attend an in-person information session in full.
