As the Winter/Spring Season pushes on, I want to bring to your attention our next internship opportunity for your students. The Long Island Office of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will be hiring interns for the Summer 2016 Internship Period (beginning in May – August.) This internship will be offered Monday- Friday 10AM-530PM, interns are expected to do 12-15 hours a week. The application period is open from now- April 1st, submission is solely on our website (see below). The internship is unpaid, however students are encouraged to apply for credit through their college/university. Feel free to pass along this email to interested students or faculty. If you would like to recommend a specific student, please reply to this email with the student’s name after they have submitted all of their application info.
· Students must be able to commute to the Long Island Office.

Items that will be requested: 1. Up to date Resume 2. Cover Letter 3. Transcript (may be copy pasted from Univ./College website) 4. Letter of Reference
