For you majors and minors interested in Legal Studies (or if you're concentrating in European History, or just looking for a super-cool elective...)

-- I highly recommend a new course for next Fall.  It's Hist 200: The Rule of Law, taught by Professor Antonov.  In this class, you'll look at how conceptions of the law have changed over time; how laws have been applied and interpreted; and how legal documents/trials can be used as historical sources.  It will meet Tues-Thurs, 9:15-10:30, and it will count toward the European History concentration, or of course, toward the elective requirement.

It looks totally great.  I tell you, I wish I were still a student.
