Dear History majors,

You've probably seen the flyers around the department, or heard the announcement from your professors, but I thought I'd repeat it on the majors list, too...

This Wednesday, Feb 13, there will be an informational session about the History Club and Honor Society during free hour (12:15-1:30) in PH 351.

Professor Wintermute, the faculty advisor, and student members will be on hand to talk about potential activities, such as...

- films,

- field trips, and especially

- opportunities to do original historical research about and for the college (WWII; activism on Civil Rights; athletics at the college; oral histories of prominent alumni; and so on)

And last, but far from least, Prof. Wintermute tells me lunch will be provided -- free pizza.
