To rising seniors -- I'm passing along a letter from Moira Egan, the National Fellowships Advisor at QC, about excellent opportunities for rising seniors in the Fulbright Fellowship program. It's a wonderful way for you to continue your studies overseas after graduating, all expenses paid (and it also looks good on a resume, whether for graduate schools or for employment). Dear Students, The Fulbright program is a wonderful opportunity to spend up to an academic year overseas after graduation, and offers many types of awards to meet a wide range of academic goals and interests. Remember that Fulbright is looking for well-rounded applicants, interested in cross-cultural exchange along with their academic success. Dear majors, One more internship opportunity for the Fall! The Queens Historical Society is looking for interns for the Fall semester. Among their opportunities, one internship focuses specifically on historical research. It would be a great opportunity for a History major interested in working with archival materials. College credit can be arranged if you obtain the internship. The QHS accepts applications on a rolling basis, but they prefer if students can stay for the entire semester.
