Colleagues, Next week, our department will be joined by Matthew Ross, who will be working as a lab assistant to support your teaching in our Queens College classrooms and computer labs. Matthew has a background in computer science and has been working in the Benjamin Rosenthal Library. He will be working from 4pm to 9pm, Monday to Thursday, and while he’ll be stationed in the GSLIS office, he’ll be moving around as he works to fix and develop our computers, projectors, etc. In time, we hope that Matthew will be able to work with IT to improve our facilities and respond to the particular technical requirements of some of our more specialized classes.
