The Special Events Committee, at my request, is sponsoring an event on April 24 during what would normally be a Curriculum Space time (5:45 to 7:15 pm) in the Rosenthal Library’s President’s Conference Room on the 5th floor. Peter Ward, Director of the Lindenhurst Public Library and liaison between the Suffolk Cooperative Library System and Suffolk County Civil Service, and Tom Witt, Director of the North Merrick Public Library and liaison between the Nassau Library System and Nassau County Civil Service will come to discuss public library civil service requirements, preparation, exams, etc. with interested students.
