I am sending you a copy of the press release that contains details about her program and the scholarship program. This will be an excellent time to learn from a national figure the issues confronting American libraries and the future course ALA will follow to remain relevant to our communities. The scholarship has benefited nearly 700 students and has provided opportunities to improve the diversity and inclusiveness of libraries. Perhaps some of your students have been recipients of an award. We think this will be a great opportunity to meet Molly and hope you, your staff and students can attend. If you have questions about the program or would like to make a reservation please contact Harry Applegate (732) 349-6200, ext. 5407. Thank you. Sincerely, Susan Quinn Director, Ocean County Library -- chirp elt Dr. Thomas T. Surprenant Professor & Acting Chair/Director Queens College Graduate School of Library & Information Studies
