 Dear Library School Professors:

The NASIG (North American Serials Interest Group) is quickly approaching (June 7-10, 2012), and I wanted to write you to let you know of the many grants available for Library School students and graduates.  There are many different awards available, primarily to students in Library School, and some professionals who already have their MLS degree.  The many different awards available and requirements for application can be found at the NASIG Awards homepage at http://www.nasig.org/about_awards.cfm.   Established in 1985, NASIG is an independent organization that promotes communication and sharing of ideas among all members of the serials information chain – anyone working with or concerned about serial publications.

I ask that you please forward this information on to students in your classes and at your Library School, so we can get the word out about these awards to attend the annual conference.  If you need any further information, feel free to contact me.  Also, feel free to see the NASIG website at www.nasig.org for further information.

Regards,
