Dear Colleagues and Students,

Please note that several events will be held during a Curriculum Space on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, from 5:45-7:15.

An introduction to APA Style will be held in the President’s Conference Room #2, in Rosenthal Library.

An event targeting students in the Archives Program will be held in the Student Lounge at the same time. Further details on the Archives event will be sent out tomorrow by Prof. Thayer.

The introduction to APA Style, with an emphasis on citations and references, is especially important for students in LBSCI 701, and for those in required core courses who have no previous experience with the 6th edition of the APA Style Manual.  It should serve as an important refresher for any students needing to brush up on their APA skills, especially for those enrolled in LBSCI 709.

All classes starting at 3:55 will end early (just before 6:00), and 6:40 classes will start late (7:05), so that all interested students and faculty can attend.  Curriculum Spaces are offered four times a semester, one each on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, to allow us to offer special events outside of regularly scheduled classes.

We hope to see you there.  In the meantime, stay warm!

Profs. Claudia Perry and Johnathan Thayer
