It is my great pleasure to announce that our fearless chair, Dr. James Lowry, will be promoted to full professor, effective in late August! We have just received confirmation from the provost, and I am absolutely thrilled to share this exciting news.

This well-deserved promotion is a testament to James' exceptional scholarship, unwavering dedication, and significant contributions to our department and our field. James' hard work and outstanding achievements have truly been recognized, and we are incredibly proud to have such an inspiring leader in our department.
