To Department Chairs, I would appreciate your distributing this to your faculty as is possible. Thank you very much. Ken =============================================================== To: Faculty Using Blackboard Notifying the Registrar that a student has not attended any of the first three class meetings has a consequence on Blackboard. When the Registrar is so informed, a grade of "WN" is entered on the student's record. This grade disables the student's access to the course on Blackboard, and neither the QC Bb Admin nor the CUNY Bb Admin can reverse this. The current process for correcting any mistaken reporting of attendance is done on paper, and can take several days, during which the student cannot use your course on Blackboard. Of course, we all try to be as accurate as possible, but I thought it important that everyone know this detail.
