Dear Adjunct Faculty Member,

It is election time and I would like to encourage you to become involved in the very important work of campus governance by running for a position on the Academic Senate. (The CUNY Board of Trustees on January 26 of this year passed a Charter amendment promulgated by the Queens College Senate to permit adjunct faculty representation on the QC Senate.)  The Senate plays critical roles in the formulation of policy relating to the admission and retention of students, curriculum, granting of degrees, and campus life.

Nominations must be made electronically and submitted to the Elections Committee during the period starting February 23, 2015 and ending March 9, 2015 at:

Qualifications and descriptions for elected positions can also be found on the web site above. Late petitions will not be accepted under any circumstances, and only self-nomination is accepted.
