Dear colleagues,

In order to facilitate the official vote for QC LISSA officers, Becca Worthington(LISSA President)  has asked if faculty could possibly distribute the attached ballots to students in their classes, and have a student collect them and place them in the QC LISSA mailbox in the GSLIS office.  Students taking multiple courses should only vote once.

I’ve asked Bridget and Amanda if they would be willing to have copies made, so if you could let them know the size of your class, they can assist with this step.

I just wanted to follow up on the below re: circulating ballots (attached) for Diane and Penny to be officially inducted as QC LISSA officers. Maeghan mentioned something last night in our meeting post-wine and cheese that you might be able to post it on GLISFAC (?) for the faculty to print and distribute in their classes. If that works, and they can leave completed ballots in the QC LISSA box, that would be terrific. If that's not the method that you'd like to use, please provide guidance on how we can help or facilitate. Thanks!

I have attached the updated ballot for officially voting in the two new QC LISSA officers, Diane and Penny. I'm not sure what the precise process of distribution and collection was before, but would it be possible to make copies and hand them out at the faculty meeting with the request that all faculty please distribute them in their classes this week, collect them, and place them in the QC LISSA box in the office for officer review?

If there's another method that you and the other faculty members would prefer we undertake (aka, having the four of us print and distribute on our own), then please let us know and we'll do it. Thanks either way!
