GSLIS has partnered with Understood.org to look at the accessibility of departmental teaching materials from neurodiverse perspectives. As part of that work, Understood are offering this session for professors and adjuncts. Please attend if you can!

This session provides an overview of neurodiversity. You'll learn about what neurodiversity means and how you can help build an inclusive culture.

This session also offers an introduction to the concepts of universal design for learning and inclusive design and how they can be applied to your classroom.

The session will be presented by Dr. Andy Kahn, Associate Director, Expertise and Strategic Design, Understood

The presentation time will be approximately an hour.
