Dear Mel,
I'll be sending you out the schedule a bit later today--Sorry it's been a crazy week with Advising every day and major problems in my Digital Imaging lab last night.
Do you have any food restrictions we should be aware of and could you share the topic of your teaching talk? Sounds like the classroom setting will work out well. The class you'll be addressing is "Librarianship in a Multicultural Society". Will a computer and projection capabilities be sufficient for your talk?
We look forward to seeing you!
Claudia

Hi Colleen,
The technology is not required for students, I think a classroom setting will be better than a computer lab.
Thanks,
Mel

Hi, Melissa
Yes, we are all looking forward to your visit as well. Claudia Perry will send you a schedule. The students in the class do not ordinarily have laptops. Would you like me to see if we can move into one of the computer labs?

Dear Colleen,
I'm looking forward to my visit next week to GSLIS. Is there a schedule that I can consult in preparation for the days events? And for the student lecture, will the students have their own technology such as laptops?
Thank you,
Mel

Hi Melissa,
Turns out we need to change the dates for your visit as two of our faculty will be out of town that week. Claudia Perry will contact you shortly to arrange a different schedule.

Dear Melissa,
We have just received approval to move forward in our faculty search and I wish to invite you
for a campus visit. This visit will involve your giving a job talk about your research to our faculty and a one hour classroom lecture to our MLS students. As we are trying to move quickly now, we wonder if you can be available on March22-23? Are you still interested in our position and will these dates work for you?
