Curriculum Space Announcement—Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Dear colleagues,

A reminder that there will be two important events scheduled Wednesday, April 13, during Curriculum Space, 5:45-7:10.  Regular 3:55 classes will end early, and 6:40 classes will begin late, to accommodate these special events.

An orientation to LBSCI 709 will be held in the President’s Conference Room #2, in Rosenthal Library.  This is required of all students who plan to take 709 in Fall 2016.

LISSA and the GSLIS Student Chapter of the Society of American Archivists will be sponsoring a panel presentation featuring CUNY librarians and archivists who traveled to Cuba on a week-long exchange visit in January, 2016.  Among the panelists will be Assistant Professor Bill Blick (QCC),  Senior Archivist Pedro Juan Hernández (Centro de Estudios Puertorriqueños), and Acting Chief Librarian Manuel Sanudo (Queens College).  The panel will be moderated by SAA  Chapter President Sarah Rose.  The event will be held in President’s Conference Room #1 in Rosenthal Library.
