Prof. Galina Letnikova invited a presenter, Professor Liz Jardine, for her 702 class when they have a topic on Open Educational Resources.

 

Professor Liz Jardine, Metadata Librarian at LaGuardia CC Media Resources Center, will give a 30-40 minutes presentation “Open Educational Resources and the Library.”  This presentation will describe open educational resources (OERs) and what openness means, explain their importance to both faculty and students, discuss the connection to libraries, and present resources for finding OER materials for teaching in academic disciplines as well as library instruction.

 

Professor Jardine is a knowledgeable scholar, her out of the ordinary presentations attract attention and provide valuable insights on the topic.
