David Carr, author of "Open Conversations" will talk about adult development and their need for information. He will also talk about the Queens Museum of Art and the development of their collaboration with the Queens Public Library.
 
After a dozen years as a teacher and librarian, David Carr taught librarianship for twenty-five years, specializing in collections, popular reading, and reference services in humanities and social sciences. Most recently, he has lectured and written on the passion for reading in adult life and has assisted public libraries to develop community reading projects.
