About the Speaker: Lucia Cedeira Serantes is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of
Information & Media Studies, University of Western Ontario, Canada. She previously worked as a young adult librarian and researcher for the International Center for Children’s and Young
Adults’ Books (Salamanca, Spain).
Ellen Mehling will present "Preparing for a Job Interview" from 5:55 PM - 7:10 PM

Speaker's Introduction: "Does the idea of a job interview make you nervous? That is normal and understandable, but the better prepared you are, the less stressful you'll find the experience. This presentation will cover what you should (and shouldn't) do before, during, and after your interview to have the best chance of success."
About the Speaker: Ellen Mehling earned her MSLIS and Certificate of Advanced Study in Archives from LIU and has been Job Bank Manager and Career Development Consultant at the Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO) since 2009.
