The University has established adjunct pay dates for summer and fall 2014; the attached memorandum from Mr. Raymond O’Brien provides full details.

To ensure all adjunct payments are processed timely, it is important that the rules delineated in these memorandums and the deadlines below are strictly observed. In compliance with the University’s guidelines, please ensure that the pay dates are shared with the Adjuncts in your respective departments.

Summer 2014

To guarantee payment for the first paycheck of each summer session, please ensure that your e-PAFs arrive in the following offices on or before the deadline dates listed below:

• Summer 1S: 6/2/14 – 6/25/14                                      Summer 1S: 6/26/14
• Summer 1L: 6/2/14 – 7/10/14                                      Summer 1L: 6/26/14 and 7/10/14
• Summer 2S: 7/7/14 – 7/30/14                                      Summer 2S: 7/10/14 and 7/24/14
• Summer 2L: 6/30/14 – 8/7/14                                      Summer 2L: 7/10/14, 7/24/14 and 8/7/14

N.B. Courses for SS1 and SS2 should be submitted on separate e-PAFs.

Fall 2014

The Fall 2014 semester dates of appointment/reappointment for adjunct faculty will be 8/28/14 to 12/23/14.

There will be eight successive adjunct pay dates beginning on 9/18/14 and ending on 12/24/14.

To guarantee payment for the first paycheck, please ensure that your e-PAFs arrive in the following offices by the deadline dates listed below:

• Provost’s Office – 6/23/14
• Budget Office – 7/1/14
• Human Resources – 7/18/14

N.B. The e-PAF system can be accessed using this link.  Please report changes in hours and cancellations as soon as possible to avoid inaccurate payments and overpayments.

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) expects to continue working collaboratively with all departments and programs to ensure compliance and timely payments for our adjuncts.
