Hi guys, Here is the Curriculum Space agenda so far. Don’t forget that we can have multiple presentations. The max would be four if we were to keep everything within the GSLIS but, given the Barbara Jones presentation we might need to go to either the auditorium or Presidential Conference room. As of 8/1/2011: *September 13 Tuesday: * APA Style Manual & Writing Center Barbara Jones, Director of ALA's Office for Intellectual Freedom *October 3 Monday: * SLA Student Chapter Welcome Back Reception SLA Student Chapter Speaker Panel *November 16 Wednesday: * Web 2.0: its impact on library services – Rowena Li* * 709 Orientation *December 8 Thursday: * Internship Orientation Time of the various Curriculum spaces is 5:45-7:15 so plan your courses accordingly so that you can release your students to participate in the various events. Of course, this does not apply to those teaching at the Murphy Center. Don’t forget that the COA visit is OCT 16,17,18; members of the team might very well visit your class if you are scheduled to teach on Monday or Tuesday. More to come about the COA visit. -- chirp elt Dr. Thomas T. Surprenant Professor & Acting Chair/Director Queens College Graduate School of Library & Information Studies
