Dear Colleagues,
Dr. Ping Li and I are happy to report that we had a great group of nearly 25 students attend our joint Curriculum Space on Writing and APA Style with Mr. John Troynaski, Director of the Queens College Writing Center on Tuesday, February 7.
Mr. Troynaski spoke about the terrific services offered at no cost to QC students and especially the importance to all graduates of writing well. He also noted that many GSLIS students have taken advantage of these services, and that all of us can benefit from another set of eyes looking over our writing. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Troynaski for taking the time out from his busy schedule to speak with us!
Drs. Perry and Li then presented an interactive presentation based on the attached PowerPoint. Students asked many excellent questions that expanded on the points presented in the PPT slides.
