Dear Queens College Students, new and returning!  

As the Fall 2025 semester approaches, here’s a revamped start-of-semester guide to help smooth your transition, whether you're a freshman or returning student. Dive in early, set up your accounts, get your QC QCard, tap into support services, and start your journey on the right foot!

Student Orientation : Queens College Service Desk

QCard Distribution: The QCard is the official Queens College ID.

  • Permanent Location: I-Building, Room 200
  • Temporary Location (Aug 25–29): Student Union Lower Level

Brightspace LMS Transition: Students can receive assistance at the Student Union Lower Level and via Microsoft Teams. Helpful resources:

Several of you have reached out to me about potential student job opportunities within ITS, thank you for your interest! At the moment, we're not yet hiring for the new semester, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be. We’re just not ready to onboard a new group of student workers yet. I appreciate your patience please check back around with me mid-September for updates. Also, a quick reminder: you don’t need to be a computer science or tech major to apply. We welcome students from all majors and backgrounds so don’t let that hold you back!
