Attached are the results of the qcLISSA survey on 700. Thank you so much for helping to distribute it and encouraging student participation. Based on the results, with concurrence from the faculty Technology and Curriculum Committees, Professor Valero, the course coordinator, has been asked to find alternatives for the current textbook, to remind students of the option of testing out of the course, with a better hands-on test, and to devise new tests better related to the course's content and concepts than those computer-generated by the textbook publisher. Improving the course and student learning is obviously a work in progress and will not all happen overnight, but thanks to your input, it will now happen. A special thanks to LISSA for conducting a very successful survey. -- chirp elt Dr. Thomas T.
