Dear colleagues,

Here is some proposed verbiage for the quarter page ad we are seeing to place in the Louis Armstrong House Museum Gala Journal.  Please respond with suggested changes at your earliest convenience; the ad must be placed by tomorrow and I need to run it through the QC Communications office.

We have commitments for $200 of the $250 required for the ad.  If anyone else would care to contribute, please let me know.  I will have more information after speaking with the Communications Office about to whome a check should be addressed.

Many thanks to all those who have offered to contribute; this seems like a good PR opportunity for the GSLIS.

I have a thought.  How about the professors and alumni raise a little money to buy an ad in the Journal for the event.  there is not a lot of time, but if 10 of us were willing to put in $25 we could get a 1/4 page.  Just a thought.
