I enjoyed reading Dr. Cooper's research article in the October, 2013 issue of the Journal of Education for Library and Information Science, entitled "Student Reflections on an LIS Internship From a Service Learning Perspective Supporting Multiple Learning Theories." Given the attacks on internships across the board lately, it offers a very nice justification for them as service learning activities.
