Dear faculty and adjuncts,

I’m writing with an update on our progress towards ALA accreditation.

Last week, I submitted our Self Study Plan to ALA, and Ping Li and I have a meeting with ALA this Thursday to discuss the plan.

Our full Self Study is due in mid-November. I have hired Irene Gashurov to lead the writing of the Self Study. Irene is a technical writer with a knowledge of libraries, as she is working with CUNY’s Office of Library Services. If Irene contacts you for information or asks you to supply some text, please assist her as a priority.
