Claudia A. Perry, MLS, Ph.D Associate Professor Graduate Advisor for Admissions Graduate School of Library and Information Studies Queens College, CUNY Flushing, NY 11367 claudia.perry@qc.cuny.edu 718-997-3790 Dear GSLIS colleagues, Good news! The new MLS/MA joint degree with the History Dept. has been approved and registered with the state, and we will be accepting students for the Spring 2015 semester. (We’ll be finalizing the codes and final procedures but are stitching together a temporary approach in the interim.) We’ll show copies of the flyer to the ERP when they visit, and bring to the Grad Open House Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014. (I’ll order copies from Repro.) I’ll keep you posted on further details; for now I am the contact person for GSLIS and Julia Sneeringer will fill the same role in History. Please spread the word to prospective candidates who might be interested. (This includes current students.) Thanks to all who had a role in making this come to pass! Claudia Claudia A. Perry, MLS, Ph.D Associate Professor Graduate Advisor for Admissions Graduate School of Library and Information Studies Queens College, CUNY Flushing, NY 11367 claudia.perry@qc.cuny.edu 718-997-3790 PS-please let me know if you can’t access the attachment. Hi historians, GSLIS-ers, and their friends,
Here's an MLS/MA flyer that we could post now, in time for enrolling students for Spring, 2015. I put down Claudia's name as the contact at GSLIS -- correct me if that's wrong and I can make the change. Or, please suggest any other edits.

I know Emily Valentine, a QC History alumna and a current MLS student is planning to undertake this program. She's ready to apply.
Best, Joel
