Hi guys,

It seems that delays in sending and receiving emails via glisann have increased.  In a couple of recent cases one important email to students was delayed two days and, in the most recent example the email by Mary K to her class yesterday was not in the hopper until early today.  I am making an inquiry into the situation but am not confident that a positive outcome will result.  The Social Sciences Chairs listserv has been moved off campus, away from OCT, because of similar problems; we may have to do that as well.

I would like to suggest that you consider one of the following for important communications with your classes:  1- use the Blackboard/Epsilen mail feature and/or 2- create your own mail list by getting student email addresses at the beginning of the semester.
