Subject: Guidance regarding unauthorized individuals in classrooms

Dear Chairs and Deans:

Pursuant to recent incidents where unauthorized individuals entered class sessions in-progress, Chief of Staff to the President, Desirae Colvin, and I have worked with QC Legal to develop the attached guidance for managing such situations. Please note - this is guidance consisting of recommendations and best practices, not policy or required actions.

Please distribute to your full-time and part-time faculty.

We wish to recognize and thank those deans and faculty who reviewed earlier drafts of these guidelines, which are posted on the Office of the Provost website under "Resources" for full-time and adjunct faculty.
