Gslisadjuncts President Gizis to sign Declaration for School Libraries

On Wednesday, May 7th at 4:00PM, Queens College President Evangelos Gizis will visit the GSLIS to sign the Declaration for School Libraries. This event will take place in the lobby outside the office, Room 254. If you are available to sign the declaration yourself, please come to join the festivities. There will be a photo op, but sadly, no red carpet. If you teach a class at 3:55, perhaps you will allow your students a few minutes to sign the Declaration. The photos will be posted on the AASL website. Thank you! On Thursday at 5:45 until 7:15 we are having a special curriculum space presentation by the two library directors (Tom Witt—Nassau, and Peter Ward—Suffolk) who are their library system’s representatives to local civil service. It will be in the President’s conference room on the 5th floor of Rosenthal Library. If you have questions you would like me to send them in advance, please let me know. Graduates are welcome. To ensure all adjunct payments are processed timely, it is important that the rules delineated in these memorandums and the deadlines below are strictly observed.
