Hi guys, Attached please find a picture of a poster that I created for the Introduction to Digital Imaging class. I used Wordle for the text and Snapfish to create the poster. Due to the weirdness of Snapfish the image that you see is not the actual poster - once you order they take the image down. However, it will give you an idea of what you can do for any class that you choose. Obviously, photos and graphics lend themselves very well to this type of environment. Don't forget that, if you do decide to design a poster, if you use people for any of your pictures you will need to get their permission. Hi everyone, As a followup to Tom's sample poster of 757 Digital Imaging using postcard images before 1923, just wanted to mention in case you are not familiar with it that Creative Commons has a Search function for images where you can select items you can modify, adapt or build upon (see check boxes to the right of the Search query Box). See http://search.creativecommons.org/ Have fun! This also can be useful for students creating websites or PPTs where they want to avoid copyrighted images.... Claudia

This operation is an outreach effort, to assist students who are experiencing difficulties with registration in any way. The Center will be open daily from 9am to 5pm next week, Monday, August 15 through Thursday, August 18 and from 9am to 4pm Friday, August 19; Monday, August 22 through Friday Sept 9, the Center will be open Monday through Thursday 9am to 8pm and Friday's until 4pm.
