Proposals for individual or group presentations on successful, innovative or unique uses of technology in the classroom are welcome. Due to the religious holidays the GSLIS PC lab will be open only from 12:00-5:00 on Wednesday [Sept 8] and will be completely closed on Thursday and Friday [Sept 9 & 10]. Gslisadjuncts Welcome Walter Valero - New Full-Time Faculty Member

I am pleased to announce that Professor Walter Valero has joined the GSLIS faculty as a full-time Lecturer. He comes to us with a Maser’s in Library & Information Studies [GSLIS] and a Master’s in Communications [Manhattanville * * College]. His experience at Manhattanville as “Electronic Services Librarian*” *will serve us well as we strengthen our courses in the area of technology. He is currently teaching GSLIS 700, 755 and 757. He has also taught GSLIS 757 as an adjunct in the Spring 2010. Please join me in welcoming “Professor Walter,” as he would like to be called, to the GSLIS family. -- chirp elt Dr. Thomas T.
