Do you love essays, poetry, fiction, journalism, and/or translation? Join this informal conversation about all of the above! Elisa Gonzalez is a poet, essayist, and fiction writer whose work appears in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The New York Times Magazine, The Drift, and elsewhere. Her debut collection of poetry, Grand Tour, will be published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux in September 2023. Carina del Valle Schorske is a writer and translator of Puerto Rican literature. Her essays and criticism have been published in many venues, including The Believer, Bookforum, and The New York Times Magazine, where she is a contributing writer. Her debut essay collection, The Other Island, was honored with a Whiting Nonfiction Grant in 2020 and is forthcoming from Riverhead Books. Sponsored by the Queens College School of Arts.
