First: All QC students are invited to an event TONIGHT March 24 at 7 pm on Zoom with writer, editor, advocate, podcaster, and CUNY alum Jennifer Baker<https://www.jennifernbaker.com/bio>, who will discuss “Potential Careers in Publishing.” Jennifer is a publishing professional with almost 20 years’ experience. She was named a Publisher’s Weekly “SuperStar” because “her varied work championing diversity has made her an indispensable feature in the book business.” Her presentation will be followed by a Q&A with students. Second: Utopia Parkway Journal, QC’s undergrad literary magazine, will be publishing its Spring 2022 issue in April and is seeking submissions from students!
