I am reaching out you because I would appreciate your help in letting students know that the Cultural Corps internship program has extended our deadline to Sunday, May 24th. We want to reach out to as many students as possible to potentially provide paid work during these uncertain times. We know that some students may have been working jobs that have let them go and are in need of another source of income. We also understand that job prospects for the upcoming 2020-2021 may be on unsteady ground, so we want to provide students with alternative paid opportunities. In addition, we also want students to know that we will still have an internship program regardless of this pandemic, although it may be in the virtual space working remotely. Just as a reminder, the goal of our program is developing students' professional skills and preparing them for career success post-graduation by having them work for a New York City cultural institution. The program is open to ALL undergraduate majors and open to ALL CUNY graduate schools. We guarantee placement for all students who are selected to be part of the program.
