I'm writing with a few announcements. The first big one is that the Academic Senate just approved a new version of the English Major with fewer credits/ course requirements. As continuing English majors you have the option to opt in to this new major. Professor Sian Silyn Roberts and I will be hosting a webinar on Friday, May 8, 2020 from 2- 2:45 pm that explains the new changes. At the end of the webinar, we'll take questions and comments from you, and we'll explain how you can opt in to the new major. We also want to use the opportunity to connect with you to hear about any general questions and concerns you might have about this semester and next fall.
