I coordinate a program called Professionals on/off Campus in which we connect distinguished alumni with current students. I wanted to reach out in regards to a cool opportunity for English students. Mary Murphy ‘81 from PIX11 News will be hosting students at the newsroom on Friday, October 18. The students would arrive at 11:30am for a tour of the newsroom and will get to see them produce a Facebook “Live” show through the control room with Emmy-award winning journalist John Muller! The midday show begins at 1:00pm, so students can anticipate the visit to last between 2/2.5 hours. It would be wonderful if you can share this with your department and students.
