Congrats on making it to the last week of classes! We are Utopia Parkway, Queens College’s undergraduate literary magazine, and we’re writing with a few opportunities for literary celebration and togetherness at the end of the semester! First: We’re hosting an Open Mic on Sunday December 19 at 7 pm! (Zoom link here<https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83614423868?pwd=MzAySzh1Tlh0RzZ6N2FLNFJiekthUT09>). All Queens College undergrads and their friends are welcome to participate. Bring poetry, fiction, or any other piece of creative writing you’d like to read aloud, either written by you or a writer you admire. We hold open mics a couple times a semester, and they’re warm and informal ways to hear and share writing and meet other writers. We’d love to see you there! Second: If you’re interested in getting involved in Utopia Parkway Magazine, we’re having an Open Meeting on Sunday December 12 at 7 pm (Zoom link here<https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83614423868?pwd=MzAySzh1Tlh0RzZ6N2FLNFJiekthUT09>). We’re putting together an editorial team for the Spring 2022 issue and would love for you to be part of it! We welcome writers, editors, designers, event-planners … anyone who’s interested in creative writing, art, or publishing. We’ll do some freewriting to de-stress, and then start to plan!
