The 2019 program runs from June 20th to August 6th. In addition to rehearsing the two plays, students at SA@S train in disciplines from stage combat to clown, Alexander Technique to Droznin, voice & speech to Shakespeare’s text and ensemble devising, in master classes led by internationally recognized instructors. The Shakespeare Academy @ Stratford is looking to assemble an imaginative, collaborative ensemble from a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. Students entering college, attending college, as well as recent college graduates may apply. Prior training in theater and/or Shakespeare is not a requirement for admission.
