The following is the job description:
The Jewish Voice is a weekly publication based in New York City. We are currently seeking 3-5 students (preferably English, Communications, Political Science, Middle
East Studies, Computer or Fine Arts majors) for several internship positions. We need a motivated, self starter with excellent work ethic along with lots of drive and determination to serve as article re-writer and reporter of local stories. The student will
be working directly with the editor and will be trained to take on the responsibilities of the editorship. The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience writing for the school newspaper and has worked on improving their journalistic skills in pursuit
of career goals. The candidate for this position would also conduct research and interviews as well as attend local events and provide live coverage. Candidate can either work remotely or at the company office.
The Jewish Voice is also seeking student interns for full or part time social media positions. Ideal candidate will be writing breaking news stories, posting them
on the Jewish Voice web site, sending them out in a daily electronic newsletter and posting them on the Jewish Voice social media platforms. Candidate should possess excellent writing skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under a deadline.
The Jewish Voice is also seeking student interns for positions such as office manager, assistant to the publisher, and accounting manager.
