Dear students,

I’m writing to let you know about two internships in the field of audio storytelling.

The first is with Sticher and 99% Invisible. They’re looking for a remote spring intern. Here’s a brief description:

Stitcher is seeking an intern interested in making and editing podcast episodes. This person will be part of the 99% Invisible team, responsible for engaging reporting and joyful storytelling about design and the built world.

99% Invisible is one of the most successful—and well-produced—podcasts around. You can find more details here:

I’m pasting information about the second opportunity, with NASA, below.

As always, I recommend working with a career counselor in QC’s Office of Career Engagement if you decide to apply. If you’re interested in this field it’s also a good idea to attend the Queens Podcast Lab’s weekly seminar series (on Fridays on Zoom). A lot of professional development goes on there.

This is a paid, 16-week opportunity for current students or recent graduates (can be undergrad or graduate level). This full-time internship will be virtual for the spring term. The link to the listing is here
