Dear English Majors, Minors, and Master’s Degree students,
English Department pre-registration for Winter and Spring 2016 will begin on Monday, November 2 and continue on Tuesday November 3 and Wednesday November 4.
The list of courses available will be posted online and outside the department. You may register for one winter course and three spring courses.
We urge you to take advantage of pre-registration. It ensures that we can offer first choice of all courses to students who need them to complete their major, minor, or master’s degree.
To secure a place in your preferred courses, please fill out a pre-registration slip
on the day of preregistration (available in the hallway outside the English department office on the 6th floor of Klapper Hall) and take it to KP 610 .
This year, we will be offering special undergraduate advisement sessions in the week before preregistration. Please consider attending one of the following sessions:
Recent transfer students: Monday Oct 26, free hour, room 710 Klapper Hall. We will conduct a transfer workshop, and welcome new transfer students to the department. Special advisement for transfer students will take place 2-4pm.
Current majors and minors: Wednesday Oct 28, 11am-1pm, Room 601 Klapper Hall
MA and MFA students: please contact the Director of Graduate Studies

Note: Transfer students can no longer apply English courses designated as 499 to the major. Please consult a member of the English Department Transfer Evaluation Committee before pre-registration.
