Program Manager for Film Production Training Program at Bronx CC: The
Program Manager of the Bronx Community College (BCC) Film Production Training Program is responsible for managing this new workforce training initiative developed by BCC in cooperation with Local 52 of The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees
(IATSE). The program prepares students for entry-level jobs in high-demand Local 52 crafts, such as Property, Grip and Electric.

Summer Corps Field Supervisor: CUNY
Summer Corps is a university-wide program serving 1,000 students this summer. The Summer Corps will provide eligible CUNY students with paid summer employment for six weeks for 25 hours per week. The goal of CUNY Summer Corps is to promote career exploration
and career development that effectively prepares students for long-term career success.
The CUNY Summer Corps Program seeks five professionals to serve as Field Supervisors for a temporary position between mid-June – August 2019. Reporting directly to the CUNY Summer Corps Program Manager of Student Success, the Field Supervisors will serve as
program ambassadors and provide on-site support to our partnering employers and students. This position is for 35 hours of work per week for 10 weeks of the program.

JPMC Tech Connect Program The
JPMorgan Chase Tech Connect Program was created to help those underrepresented in technology gain the right skills to join the JPMC technology team. If you have a passion for innovation, technology and financial services, this program will help you develop
into an industry-leading professional. Tech Connect is a multi-week intensive Java training where participants will learn to read, write and understand basic Java, as well as receive support and coaching from senior business leaders. The program also arranges
networking opportunities that will help participants build a career with the firm. This coding boot camp leads in to JPMC's full-time
Software
Engineer Program.
Program Requirements
CUNY students with expected graduation dates in Winter 2019 or Spring 2020. Minimum GPA of 3.2
The program seeks
diverse candidates who are not majoring in computer science or coding, but have a passion for developing innovative technology solutions. Students pursuing degrees in finance, engineering, electrical engineering and other non-computer technical areas
are preferred.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, exposure to data analysis, familiarity with programming languages and excellent communication skills.

2020 Census Jobs: The
Census is hiring thousands of people in New York City to help prepare for and execute the 2020 Census. The temporary Census jobs fall into two categories:
Professional jobs that will provide managerial, administrative, and technical support for the Census count and pay $30 to $40 per hour
Field jobs that will ensure the Census operations are effective in the region and pay between $20 and $30 per hour.

Note: the US Census has stringent
requirements about the resume language directly reflecting the responsibilities of the job. It’s worth it to tailor your resume for the specific Census role you are applying for to ensure your resume is accepted. Search and apply for field jobs on

CUNY Tutor Corps Summer Jobs: Tutor
Corps is a partnership between CUNY, the Office of the Mayor, and the NYC Department of Education. This summer they are looking for students to support STEM enrichment camps and/or Extended School Year classrooms. Tutors are paid $17/hour and work for 19
hours per week. You

Internships
Summer Internships at NYC Department of City Planning: The
New York City Department of City Planning (DCP) is hiring summer interns. DCP is an agency made up of architects, city planners, demographers, environmental and transportation engineers, geographers, social scientists and urban designers - all working together
to identify and untangle New York City's complex issues alongside Community Boards, residents, businesses, policy makers, and other City agencies, to help find solutions.

Experiential Learning
CUNY Investment Fellowship: The
application is now open for the CUNY Investment Industry Fellowship! The CUNY Investment Industry Fellowship is designed for current CUNY students interested in pursuing entry level roles in the investment industry. This is an exciting opportunity for CUNY
students to increase their knowledge of the industry, build professional skills within a cohort and connect with professional mentors in the investment space. The Fellowship was founded in 2018 by the Centerbridge Foundation, with support from Centerbridge
Partners, L.P. During its second year, the Fellowship will include collaboration with other investment firms.

Program Overview
Fellows will attend monthly workshops (2 hours each) every month from September 2019 through May 2020.
Each workshop will cover a topic specific to the investing industry, such as: Introduction to Investments, Life Cycle of a Private Equity Deal, Career Paths and Structure at an
Investment Firm, How to Write a Case Study, How to Prepare for an Internship, Overview of Financial Analyses and Modeling
Fellows will be matched with a Centerbridge mentor who will provide professional guidance throughout the program.
Fellows will receive a $1,000 stipend to cover the cost of travel to workshops/mentor meetings, professional attire and other reimbursable expenses.
Supply one letter of recommendation from a professor, faculty advisor, professional mentor or current or former employer.
Select candidates will be invited to an in-person interview in June/July.
The deadline to apply is May 10, 2019.

COOP Digital Apprenticeship:
COOP closes the social capital gap by recruiting and investing deeply in divers, low-income, and first generation graduates from CUNY and other urban
public colleges. COOP's flagship program is the Digital Apprenticeship. Peer cohorts of 16 motivated, underemployed graduates meet nightly for 16 weeks (200 hours) to learn technical skills, build community, and jump-start careers in digital marketing and
