Dear English Majors,
I hope you can come to the honors conference, which runs all day on Tuesday, May 14. You’re welcome to come for any part of it, and I think you’ll find it genuinely
interesting and fun. The presenters are seniors who will graduate with honors in English, and they’re presenting the research they did in their honors’ theses. They designed their topics themselves, and their work represents some of the strongest I’ve ever
seen at the undergraduate level. This is a great opportunity for you to see models of excellence in literary scholarship, right here at QC.
I’m attaching the poster, and here’s the program. Feel free to drop in whenever you can and leave
whenever you like, as long as you do so quietly, so you don't disturb the presenters. There will also be time for questions at the end of each panel, and you're welcome to engage with the research that way, too.
