I'll add that while Survey 160 does support partisan polling operations on the Democratic side, a large part of our work is for non-partisan or corporate end clients. We used to gather to discuss the latest findings and best practices for political campaign targeting research. Partisan polling work is often underestimated and overlooked within the AAPOR network. However, as the old Chinese proverb says, "it's better to be the head of a chicken than the tail of a cow". That motivated individuals often have greater agency in shaping their work, making broader impacts. If one finds a suitable match, the work environment becomes much more enjoyable and meaningful. Witnessing Kevin's practice flourish is a pleasure. I encourage individuals aiming to enter the industry to consider this position. Many colleagues, with whom I began my career, now hold esteemed positions in great institutions. This offers an excellent opportunity to accelerate learning in the early stages of a career.
